Mark P. FalloonMark P. Falloon has been employed at Pitts Veterinary Hospital since July, 1998. He grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, and completed his undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska in 1985, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Language (German). In 1988 he received an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. He received a Bachelor's of Science in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University where he also earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in July of 1998. He has always had a strong interest in the outdoors and wildlife. His experience as a veterinary technician encouraged him to progress in the field.

His veterinary professional interest is exotic animal medicine. He has been the attending veterinarian at the Lincoln Children's Zoo from 2003 to the present. He is also active with Raptor Recovery Nebraska and Wildlife Rescue Team. Veterinary Organizations of which Dr. Falloon is a member are the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians, and the American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Falloon's pets include two cats. Though he has no dogs currently, he has a special affinity for his past English Pointers.

Dr. Falloon has two children: a daughter, Emily, and a son, Jordan.

In his spare time, Dr. Falloon enjoys hunting, fishing, back packing, cycling, archery, bird dogs, and tennis.
